Since Stockholm University Student Union (SUS) made the process of creating a student association easier, the number of associations has increased.

A year has passed since student Johanna reported SU for discrimination – the investigation is still not completed
Johanna Hajnos reported Stockholm University to the Equality Ombudsman (DO) in March 2022. Despite the government agency's goal that investigations should be completed within nine months, Johanna still has no answers today.

Students who do not have a Swedish personal number or registered Swedish address cannot activate their university accounts in the usual way, but must do so using a one-time code.

During the autumn semester of 2022 and the spring semester of 2023, one of SUS's advocacy issues focuses on students' health, and specifically in part on students’ right to rest and recovery. This spring, SUS released a report on the topic.
The service desk’s opening hours during the summer
The service desk opens again on August 7. During the summer, you can still reach them via email.
New presidium elected for 2023/2024
During the student union assembly meeting that took place on Wednesday May 24, Disa Ahlblom-Berg (VSF) was elected SUS’s President and Alicia Dickner (S) was elected Vice President. A new board was also elected.

Become a member to vote in the Student Union Election 2023!
To vote in this year’s student union election, you must become a member of SUS before 6 pm on April 11. The Student Union Election takes place between April 17 and April 28.
