Councils and student representatives
SUS provides services and support that enhance your opportunities to influence your time at the University and is here for all students who want to exercise their statutory right to student influence! Here you will find links, governing documents, and information that you need to make administration easy and advocacy work fun!
Register student representatives and board
As a council within SUS, you select student representatives for various groups. You register the elected student representatives and the council's board by emailing their names and the positions they have been elected for to studentombud@sus.se
Log in to your SUS-page to see who has been registered within your council. To access information about a council, you must be registered for a position within that council.
Apply for grants

A grant of 500 SEK per semester can be disbursed to registered student councils and PhD student councils that apply for it. The grant should be used for ongoing expenses such as coffee for meetings. You can apply for the grant for the spring semester from January 1st to June 30th, and for the fall semester from July 1st to December 31st.

If your council has a project that will positively impact SU's students, you can apply for project grants to implement it. Grants can be applied for during four application periods:
Application period 1
The application period opens May 2nd and closes June 12th.
This is for activities taking place between August 19th to October 14th.Application period 2
The application period opens September 2nd and closes September 29th.
This is for activities taking place between October 15th to December 31st.Application period 3
The application period opens November 11th and closes December 15th.
This is for activities taking place between January 1st to March 31st.Application period 4
The application period opens February 15th and closes March 15th.

Apply for remuneration (“arvode”)
Students who get involved in the structure of student influence through involvement in faculty councils, the central student council or as president of a student council can apply for remuneration for their involvement.
Log in to your SUS-page to apply. To apply for remuneration, you must be registered in our system on an assignment with authorization to apply. Read more about remuneration in Guidelines for remuneration here.

Student councils and PhD student councils can book SUS’ meeting rooms and venues.
