Congratulations on being accepted to Stockholm University!
Here are some things you can do before the start of the semester, especially if you are completely new to campus.
Become a member of SUS! Your membership gives you member benefits such as discounts on coffee, food, exercise and literature. You also get community and access to activities as well as influence over your studies. Once you have registered for your course, you will have access to everything that the membership entails. Become a member here!
Place yourself in a housing queue! There are several housing queues for students in Stockholm, both private and run by the municipalities. Through your membership in SUS, you can join SSSB's housing queue, which is the largest housing queue for students in Stockholm. The Stockholm Federation of Student Unions (SSCO) also offers a second-hand queue for students through Akademisk kvart.
Find your schedule, syllabus and bibliography on the course page. Stockholm University's guideline is that the bibliography is published 8 weeks before the start of the course and the schedule is published no later than 4 weeks before the start of the course.
Buy or sell used course literature at Campusbokhandeln! As a member of SUS, you also get 5% on course literature there.
Participate in SUS’s activities in the beginning of the semester! You meet lots of new friends and learn more about campus and student associations.
