Make your voice heard during the Student Union Election!

As a democratic member organization, SUS is a central platform where students can get involved in issues affecting education quality and student life, gain valuable experience and create networks. Through the Student Union Election, you as a student get an opportunity to influence and improve your study time.

Every year, the Student Union Election is held where members can vote for the candidates and lists that will lead SUS's work. By participating in the election, you contribute to decisions about SUS’s operational plan, budgets and strategic priorities for SUS. If you want to take it a step further, you can create a list yourself and apply to become part of SUS's highest decision-making body, the Representative Assembly.

How does the Representative Assembly work?
The Representative Assembly consists of 45 representatives from different study areas and levels, which ensures a broad representation of the students' interests. The Representative Assembly meets four times a year to make decisions on issues that affect students at SU.

Positions of trust – a chance to make a difference
For students who are passionate about leadership and influence, there are many positions of trust within SUS, for example as a representative, President or Vice President, floor leader, student union accountant or election committee. These roles involve not only responsibility for important decisions, but also opportunities to develop leadership skills and work with democratic processes. Please note that knowledge of Swedish is required for the positions.

Do you want to make a difference?
Spring is the time for the Student Union Election, but you can already start getting involved and become part of the work for a better student life. Whether you are new to university or an experienced student, there is a place for you to contribute. Together we can shape a strong and inclusive student life at Stockholm University!
