Join the SNNC Committee and create the afterparty of the Nobel Banquet!
In 2025, SUS will host the Students' Nobel NightCap (SNNC) and are looking for students who want to be part of the committee for the project.
Stockholm University Student Union's vision is that the students' influence, participation and community during their time at the university create a world-class study environment. The mission of the Stockholm University Student Union is to promote the conditions for this at Stockholm University.
To apply for the committee, you do not need to be a student at Stockholm University.
About the position
The SNNC Committee is the operational management of SNNC. The purpose of the position as a member of the SNNC committee is to carry out SNNC, one of Stockholm's most exclusive events during the year, and through that to strengthen SUS's purpose, to work for a good community between SUS members. SNNC is the continuation of the Nobel Banquet where guests from the Nobel Banquet are invited. In addition, committed students, members of academia and other well-chosen people from business and cultural circles are invited.
The position as a member of the SNNC committee is to be responsible for the implementation of the project together with the rest of the committee, which also includes preparation and planning, as well as evaluation and completion of the project.
The SNNC Committee is chaired by the Generals and each member of the Committee has a specific responsibility. For the 2025 project, the following roles will be appointed:
Head of Corporate Relations
Head of Human Resources
Head of Communication
Head of Logistics
Head of Guest and Safety
Head of Costume and Entertainment
Head of Decoration and Construction
Head of Food and Beverage
Head of Administration
Each member of the SNNC committee is responsible for their specific part of the project, this includes a responsibility for the area's budget. In all areas, in addition to administration, it also means a supervisory responsibility for the specific project group.
SNNC is characterized by the Student Union's values: professionalism, commitment, openness and accessibility. Furthermore, the committee must clearly communicate SUS's vision.

Your experience and qualifications include
some experience in project management, budget planning and work
have worked on large projects and arranged major events in the past
have experience of solving tasks independently and in projects/working groups based on clear goals and a common set of values
have a network of contacts in student life
enjoy working in a team
speak and write Swedish and English.
Knowledge about Stockholm University's Student Union and SNNC is advantageous.
About being an elected representative
The position as a member of the SNNC committee is a student-driven position of trust and no fee is paid. Based on SUS's goals and values, you work independently and in collaboration with student associations on campus for all students' opportunity for a world-class study time.
In accordance with SUS's statute, membership is required for elected representatives in the organization. For students at higher education institutions other than Stockholm University, membership in the home union and support membership in SUS is desired.
Practical aspects of the position
The project is primarily carried out on Stockholm University's campus and on site at the Stockholm University Student Union's office. Physical presence during the year is important and is prioritized in the election process.
About the duration of the position
The appointment runs from 17 February 2025 to 30 January 2026.
