New application period for project grants

On March 4, the spring application period for project grants for student associations and councils that want to host activities during the second half of the spring semester opens. Now, councils will also have the opportunity to apply for project grants, and there are new categories to apply within.

During the application period 4 March to 26 March, student associations and councils at Stockholm University can apply for project grants for activities within the categories “activities for students' health”, “students’ careers after their studies” and “activities at the end of the semester”. During the first part of the spring semester, SUS has witnessed the realization of several student projects, a few examples of activities that have been arranged so far are a kick-off for students in the human resources program, digital morning yoga, and several exciting lectures.

SUS’ President Sofia Holmdahl is now looking forward to seeing what the next application period can lead to on campus:

- A fantastic thing about being connected to SUS, as a council or association, is that you can apply for project grants to create fun events! One can actually do almost anything that one thinks is fun and enriches the university experience. Take the opportunity and apply for money now!

In addition to the period-specific categories, there are also a number of categories in which it is always possible to apply for project grants: collaborative projects between associations, digital activities and activities for international students. The goal of SUS' work to transfer resources to campus is to give students the opportunity to create a more vibrant campus environment and a campus environment that students want.

Feel free to visit the information meeting on March 4 at 4 pm, to find out more about how your association or your council can take part of the project grants. Contact loke.jansson@sus.su.se for a link to the meeting. Or fill in your application for project funding here between 4 and 26 March.
