Become a paid SUS representative!

Stockholm University Student Union’s vision is that the students' influence, participation and community during their time at the University creates world-class studies. The mission of the Stockholm University Student Union is to promote the conditions for this at Stockholm University.

Stockholm University Student Union (SUS) is on an exciting journey of developing to further strengthen students' opportunities for influence, participation and community at Stockholm University. We are now looking for volunteers who want to actively work to make SUS visible and recruit new members at the start of the autumn semester.

Activities at the start of the semester can finally take place on campus again this autumn. SUS will both arrange activities and co-host a number of activities at the start of the semester, such as speed friending, pub events and language cafes. Your task will be to help in various ways before, during and after these activities.

About the assignment

Your assignment includes putting up posters around campus, helping out in our tent during the welcome week, helping with SUS activities and, if necessary, walking around different parts of the campus to advertise for the SUS membership. SUS will provide a time and place as well as the printed material. Before the assignment is started, a short, compulsory education is given about the SUS membership, our activities and governance.

About you

We are looking for you who are interested in helping us develop and strengthen our presence during the start of the semester. We welcome previous knowledge about the campus life and its associations and councils, it is not mandatory though. Knowledge of Swedish is not compulsory, but you need to be able to speak English fluently. You need to be a member of SUS.

Extent

Activities during the start of the semester take place during the period August–September 30. As a volunteer your compensation will be 150 SEK/hour.
