CIVIS reporting from the European Student Assembly and conference for European-African Partnership

In March, both the European Student Assembly in Strasbourg and the conference “New Horizons for the European-African Partnership” in Marseille, took place. The European Civic University CIVIS attended, representing European students.

During the European Student Assembly focus was on ten various topics, from European values and democratic engagement, to cyber security and foreign policy, to health system and climate refugees. The student assembly worked on policy proposals that are then delivered to the EU institutions.

The New Horizons for the European-African Partnership was organized at the occasion of the launch of CIVIS Strategic Partnerships with six universities from Africa.
